The Highway 11 Laclie St exit ramp remians closed this morning.
Orillia OPP say the ramp is closed for a criminal investigation there following an early morning chase.
Reports say officers had been conducting a criminal investigation in Severn Township around 730am when they noticed a suspicious vehicle.
OPP followed the vehicle in an attempt to stop it, but the driver pulled away and a chase ensued, eventually the suspect driver lost control and hit a light post at the Hwy underpass.
The male driver had no apparent injuries, but was transported to Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital as a precaution.
Reports say the Laclie St. exit will be closed for further investigation.
