A 26 year old Severn Township man faces numerous charges today following an early morning police chase.
The Laclie St ramp is now open again following the chase, which resulted in the male crashing into a light post.
Orillia OPP say it all started around 730 this morning when officers were conducting a criminal investigation in Severn Township and noticed a suspicious vehicle.
Officers followed the vehicle and attempted to stop it, but it took off on the highway before the driver lost control and crashed.
Tyler Jordan Simpson has been charged with Flight From Police, Failure to Comply with Probation, Driving While Disqualified, and Operating Motor Vehicle with No Insurance.
Simpson will appear in an Orillia court April 12th.
