Police have released the name of a Midland man who drowned in Georgian Bay when his snow machine plunged into open water.
The incident occurred Saturday near Beausoleil Island.
Another snowmobiler found 40-year old Robert Quesnelle floating in open water Saturday morning.
Quesnelle was reported missing by Midland police earlier in the day after failing to return home from snowmobiling the previous night.
