Firefighters from across Ontario are invading Orillia this weekend for the Southern Ontario Firefighters Association Ontario Curling Championships.
The Barnfield Point Recreation Complex is hosting 20 rinks, composed of 80 firefighters in the three-day bonspiel.
The champion from the Orillia event will advance to the national championships, which will be held later this year in Calgary.
The championship final is set to begin Sunday at 12 p.m.
Proceeds from the event will go to Muscular Dystrophy and the Orillia Disaster Relief Fund.
