It may be the middle of winter, but officials at the Mariposa Folk Festival have summer on their minds.
Planning for this years Festival continues.
Folk Festival Foundation President Chris Lusty says they now have signed all of the acts for this years event, which is held at Tudhope Park in Orillia.
He says they will be announcing the main stage headline act by the end of March.
Lusty says from the point of view of the physical aspects of the event the organizing team is in the process of ordering things like toilets and fencing.
He says they also have already made arrangements with the city for use of the park during the festival.
Lusty says every year the festival is helped out by hundreds of volunteers and he says if anyone wants to be involved in this years event, they can apply on line at Mariposafolk.com
He says they usually have more people volunteering than they can use.
This years Mariposa Folk Festival goes from July 8th to the 10th.
