Quick work by Orillia OPP resulted in the arrest of a robbery suspect last evening.
Around 11:30 Thursday night, Police received a report of a robbery that had occurred in the area of Colborne Street and West Street.
A male entered the store and demanded cigarettes and cash from the clerk.
The male indicated that he had a weapon and the suspect got a small amount of money before leaving the scene.
Police were able to identify the suspect from the video footage.
A short time later, the male was arrested and charged.
A 26 year old male from Orillia has been charged with Robbery with Violence and Breach of Probation and will be attending a bail hearing later today in Barrie.
