The future of the Mariposa Folk Festival the subject of a day long fourm being held at Lakehead University today, Saturday, February 19th.
President of the Mariposa Folk Foundation Chris Lusty says there will be just one theme question for the day: What are the issues and opportunities facing the Mariposa Folk Festival as it begins its second 50 years?
Questiions like is the current site for the festival suitable, what should the festival get into in the future and is their greening initiative good enough will be up for discussion.
