A drug bust on West St in Orillia has two local residents facing drug charges.
Various police divisions executed a search warrent Monday at the residence on West St N — There officers seized a quantity of what is believed to be cocaine and cannabis resin, along with a quantity of unknown prescription pills, as well as drug-trafficking paraphernalia.
A 27-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman, both residents of Orillia, were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a substance contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
The pair is scheduled to appear in court May 3.
