Another 60 day delay before Orillia Council makes any decision surrounding the plan to construct a new OPP detachment building in the city.
Councillor Linda Murray told council that some new developments have come up, and right now they do not have all the information needed to make an informed decision on the proposed new building.
Council voted to put off a decision until May 2 to explore these new options.
In December, council voted to defer tenders for 60 days to look into the possibility of locating the facility at a different location.
The last council approved construction of the OPP detachment on Peter and Colborne streets and has completed architectural drawings.
