Simcoe North Conservative MP Bruce Stanton rising above all the election rehotoric coming out of Ottawa these days from theĀ Liberals and NDP.
Stanton says his main focus is on job creation here in the riding and thats the message he is getting from his constituants as well.
He says people have told him to concentrate on what he is doing to help out people in the riding, and stay away from all the political games being played in Ottawa by the two opposition parties.
StantonĀ also says the Opposition attack on the tax cuts that the governmenbt has been giving businss is a non starter.
He says right now Canada’s corporate tax rate is still too high compared to other members of the OECD, the 31 countries that Canada is competing with for world market share.
Stanton says once the final tax cuts come into effect next year, businesses in this country will be in a good competative position were Canada can attract more investment and when that happens companies will grow which in turn will result in more people finding work.
The Simcoe North Mp says that is the message the two opposition parties are not telling Canadians in their effort to criticize the corporate tax cuts.
