The familiar sound of a locomotive whistle is being heard once again in the Severn Falls area.
CP rail trains are running once again on the main line after this weeks derailment.
Randy Marsh is with CP rail and he says the clean up and fix up of the tracks is moving quickly.
He says one track has been repaired and train traffic has resumed and they are working on getting the other track fixed up as well.
Marsh says they will be bringing a peice of special equipment to help remove the damaged rail cars.
It will be used to cut up the damaged rail cars to make removing them that much easier.
He expects the the entire clean up to be completed in a couple of weeks.
As for the cause of the derailment which saw 21 cars leave the tracks is still under investigation.
That derailment forced the evacuation of about two dozen people for almost one day.
