If you want to give Ontario Finance Minister Dwight Duncan some advice on his upcoming Provincial budget, you can get a chance to do that next week.
Simcoe North MPP Garfield Dunlop is hosting two pre budget consultations, one in Midland on February 2nd, another in Orillia on February 3rd.
He says this is the 8th year he has held these meetings which allow his constitutants an opportunity to express their ideas and concerns for the next Provincial Budget.
The Orillia meeting takes place at the Highwayman Inn from 8 30 in the morning until 1 in the afternoon.
He says each person will have 10 minutes to make a presentation and the information collected will be forwarded to the minister of finance for consideration in the upcoming budget.
Dunlop says its essential that people pre register to make a presentation, and they can do that through his office at 326-3246.
He says usually stantind committees of the Legislature dont travel to smaller communities to hear from the voters, so this is one way his constituants get another voice at Queens Park.
Dunlop expects many of the concerns he will be hear about this year will be affordable housing, hydro and taxation.
