Its a chance to ski and raise money for a good cause.
The fourth annual Subaru Ski Day will take place Feb. 1 at the Heights of Horseshoe.
The event, sponsored by Subaru Canada, always benefits local causes.
Mike Davenport of Davenport Subaru says this year, the recipient will be the Community Foundation of Orillia and Area.
He says they are hoping to raise about 20 thousand dollars at this years event.
Davenport says even those who don’t ski or snowboard can have a good time and help out.
He says here will be a silent auction and door prizes.
Among the items up for grabs are hotel accommodations and a season’s ski pass.
Davenport also says its a chance for people to ski at a private resort that is not normally open to the public and he says that means the lift lines will be a lot shorter.
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 on the day of the event.
