Its an annual event that has gone on for 11 years.
Simcoe North MPP Garfield Dunlop is holding his annual New Years Levee Sunday January 9th.
It will run from 1 until 4 tomorrow afternoon at the Royal Canadian legion in Coldwater.
He says every year the Levee is a success with hundreds of people coming to talk to him and his family.
Dunlop says typically, about 300 people attend the drop-in event enjoying lunch and refreshments while having the opportunity to speak with their elected representative at Queens Park.
Every second year the levee is held in either Midland or Penetanguishene.
Dunlop says this is a chance for people to take him aside and and talk to him about some of the issues that are concerning them.
He expects constituents will want to speak about the economy and hydro costs.
