Sunshine 89-point-one sat down with Simcoe North Conservative MP Bruce Stanton to talk about his government’s accomplishments over the past year.
Stanton says that 2010 was really the second year of Canada’s economic action plan and he is encouraged by the results he has seen in regards to job growth and creation.
He says the program has come with considerable cost, pushing Canada into a budgetary deficit, but notes that Canada is slated come out of the red by 2015.
Stanton is proudest of the fact that Canada’s books are getting back on track without having to raise taxes.
He adds he is hopeful that the new year won’t bring Canadians another election.
