A trip to the movies ended up with charges for a dog owner.
Collingwood and Blue Mountains OPP were called to the Galaxy Theatre in Collingwood about a dog being left inside a vehicle Saturday evening just before 7.
The dog was locked inside a Pontiac Montana and appeared to be in distress.
A tow company was called to unlock the doors in to let the dog out.
The pet was taken to an animal shelter until they were able to find the owner.
A 22-year-old man from Wellington North was charged after he was spotted returning to his vehicle around 9:30.
