A 12 year old boy is in a Toronto hospital after a near drowning at Centennial Beach in Barrie.
First responders were called shortly after 5 p.m. yesterday(SUN) about a child in medical distress just off shore at the Splash On Water Park.
The child was taken to the hospital in Barrie before being transported by emergency run to a Toronto hospital where he is listed in serious but stable condition.
Investigators would like to speak to those who were involved in the rescue and aid of the youth, or who may have seen events leading up to the rescue.
