Barrie Police are investigating a motorcycle crash at the south end of the city.
The motorcycle was going north on Fairview Road just after 9 Monday morning when it appeared to lose control as it was trying to navigate through a bend.
That caused the driver to fly out of the motorcycle and slide down the road nearly colliding with an oncoming vehicle.
The motorcycle also slid in a different direction and collided with another vehicle.
The driver of the motorcycle — a 29-year-old woman from Tiny Township — sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the vehicle that struck the motorcycle was not hurt.
