The Backpack Bandit has struck again.

Barrie Police say the suspect they are calling 'the Backpack Bandit' has hit another Circle K store, this time escaping with an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes.

This morning’s robbery happened at 4:45 am at the store located at 477 Grove Street East In Barrie.

The suspect fled on foot like he did on Wednesday, April 10th after he robbed the Circle K at 353 Duckworth Street.

For a full description of the suspect who wears a backpack and enters his target stores with bear repellant type spray, see below.

This morning the suspect discharged the spray, striking the on-duty clerk who was incapacitated until the effects wore-off, but wasn’t seriously injured.

The suspect being sought in both of these robberies is described as:

White male, 5’11- 6’, medium build, dark coloured eyebrows, wearing a black sweater, black pants, black toque, black balaclava and black shoes.

Police have noticed that the readily identifiable red bandana that the suspect wore in the area of his left hip in the last robbery was not worn this time.

If you have any info, call police.
