Area students who visit the Remembrance week exhibit at the Orillia Public Library today and Friday will get an appreciation for the sacrifices made by local soldiers during a time of war.
Community services coordinator Jayne Turvey says the exhibit will feature World War 1 and World War 2 artifacts, uniforms, weapons and helmets.
With this being the 100th anniversary of the end of World War 1, there are 100 poster boards with photos and stories of local people affected by war.
There is also a replica World War 1 bunker that was built by the door going to the parking lot.
The public can also visit the exhibit today through Saturday during regular business hours.
