The Firebirds rode a hat-trick from Jake Durham to their first victory of the season.

Kyle Harris, Eric Uba, Hakon Nilsen and Ethan Keppen also scored for Flint who are 1-16-1 & 0 on the year.

Luke Cavallin turned aside 23 shots to end the OHL’s longest losing streak to start a season since 1995-96 when the

London Knights went 0 & 17.

Sarnia defenceman Mitch Eliot staked the Sting to an early 2-0 lead before the Firebirds rallied.

Anthony Salinitri and Sean Josling also scored for Sarnia who have lost 3 in a row.



67's 6 Frontenacs 4

Tye Felhaber and Marco Rossi combined for 6 points as the 67's picked up a point for the 14th straight game.

Kevin Bahl, Rossi, Quinn Yule and Graeme Clarke also scored for Ottawa who lead the Eastern Conference.

Jason Robertson was a force for the frontenacs with 3 goals and Brett Neumann had the other marker as Kingston scored all 4 goals on the power play.

The Russians split the first 2 games of this series against the Western League

Brady Lyle, Markus Phillips & Nick Suzuki of the Owen Sound Attack are scheduled to compete for the OHL tonight.

Saturday night & Sunday afternoon, the Owen Sound Attack will host the Erie Otters.
 


The Owen Sound Attack & Canadian Cancer Society, are hosting the 2nd Annual Cubs for Cancer game on November 17th, 

There will be a Cubs for Cancer head shave & hair cut to help raise funds for paediatric cancer at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre from 4:30-5:30pm TODAY with multiple Attack players fundraising to have their head shaved.

Plus, there will be a Celebrity Serve at Boston Pizza on TONIGHT from 6-8:00pm at Boston Pizza in Owen Sound.
